Happening now: An open windows kind of night. Overnight lows settle in the mid-50s to near 60 under mainly clear skies.

What’s next? Gorgeous again tomorrow before it turns warmer and muggier from Wednesday through Friday, when late-day storm chances return. Drying out again by the weekend, perhaps.

Forecast in detail

Tonight: Mostly clear and comfortably cool. No air conditioning needed. Lows range from the 50s in most spots to near 60 downtown. Northwest winds are around 10 mph. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Tuesday): Magnificent weather for a second straight day! Much like Monday, but with lighter winds and temperatures a degree or two warmer. Highs range from the upper 70s to the low 80s, with light southwest winds around 5 to 10 mph. Confidence: Medium-High 😎 Nice Day!

Tomorrow night: Some clouds move in and humidity increases a bit. Not quite as cool, with lows near 60. A shower is possible toward morning. Confidence: Medium

A look ahead

It turns warmer and more humid Wednesday and especially Thursday, with dew points rising through the 60s. Scattered showers and storms are possible both days, mainly during the afternoon and evening. Thursday brings the higher chances, and some storms could turn severe. Highs reach the mid- to upper 80s Wednesday and 90 to 95 Thursday. Lows both nights are mostly in the 60s. Confidence: Medium

The front triggering Thursday's potential storms may stall over the area Friday, keeping showers and storms in the forecast. Temperatures won't be as warm, with highs in the low to mid-80s. Skies gradually clear Friday night, with lows in the 60s. Confidence: Low-Medium

The weekend looks pretty good right now, with plenty of sun, somewhat lower humidity and seasonably warm highs in the 80s. Nights should be mostly clear and comfortable, with lows in the upper 50s and 60s. Confidence: Medium
