Tonight: A few showers linger this evening, mainly across the southern half of the area. Skies partially clear overnight with lows in the mid-60s to near 70. Humidity is more tolerable toward dawn. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow (Saturday): Lower humidity and a break from rain chances, too. We should see a good deal of sun, with highs in the mid-80s to near 90. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow night: Mainly clear with lows in the 60s, maybe near 70 downtown. Very light to calm wind. Confidence: Medium-High

Sunday: More humid with highs near 90 to mid-90s. Skies are partly sunny amid perhaps a few stray showers. Storms may arrive mid- to late afternoon. Some of these storms, once again, may turn severe — stay tuned. Confidence: Medium

Sunday night: A decent chance that showers and storms last toward midnight. Otherwise, mostly cloudy. Lows in the 60s with slowly decreasing humidity. Confidence: Medium

Another early-week break from the heat and humidity appears to be setting up. Sunny with highs within a few degrees of 80 Monday. Cloudier Tuesday and rain chances could be back, with less-warm highs in the 70s. Confidence: Medium
